System requirements - Pentium - 16 Mt - Win 95/98 (It should be working just fine with Win 2000 and Win NT) - SVGA with high colors 1. General stuff Extreme Hockey is a shareware-game, which means if you want to play it for more than 30 days, you'll have to register it (4. Register information). You can freely distribute the unregistered version, but distributing the full (registered) version or registeration codes is illegal activity. Do not sell or change anything what program contains (that's criminal). Extreme Hockey is made by MK Sports, based on the Hockey-format by MK Productions/Defog Games. Anything related on Exteme Hockey can be found at www.ehockey.cjb.net (or www.geocities.com/eh10sw). There’s always the latest version of Hockey-game available. Please visit there. If you have something to say about this game, be welcome to send your comments to ehockey@****.com. Thanks. 2. How to play 2.1 Getting started In the main screen there is two ways to continue. In Set Up Your Game -screen you can choose your game-mode and sign up players. Quick Start launches automatically the Tournament-mode. Extreme Hockey is an ice hockey-game. The target is to get the puck into opponent's goal. Puck is the little black, bigger balls are players. 2.2 Game-modes 2.21 Practise With this you're able to get to know this game and its controls, basic rules, before you start playing against computer or another human player. It's recommended for first time users, but after a few matches it's pretty useless. 2.22 Hockey School School is the most different game-mode in Extreme Hockey. It's totally playable and challenging althought there isn't opponent's at all. You're fighting against yourself and the time. The name school can be little missleading, don't mind. The idea is that the program evaluates your EH-skills during three simple but detailed training-missions. You'll get instructions when you'll start the school. 2.23 Tournament (limited) Is probably the simplest mode. You have 8 opponents against you, and you'll need to win them all. First ones are pretty easy to win, but when the tournament gets further also winning gets more difficult. Final match is against the legenday Keith 'Keijo' Jones, and if you'll win him, you're certainly part of EH-elite (5. Field Of Glory). If the match is tied the player who have better possession value continues. 2.24 Exhibition Match You can choose your opponent from 10 alternatives, and play single match against the opponent you've chosen. By registering you'll get 100 new various and challenging opponents and possibility to create your own opponents (4. Register information) ! 2.25 2-Players The classic mode. For sure the best Extreme Hockey available (after 4-Players..). This mode has been always there in the Hockey-games' long and bumpy road. You, puck, your friend and 3 minutes. That's all it takes for the intensivity which could blow up this world if it could be transformed to pure energy. 2.26 4-Players (n\a in unregistered version) This mode is the only one which beats the 2-Players-mode. 4 players in teams of who make the rink smaller and mistakes are not allowed. Team-play is important because there is now possible to pass the puck to your team-mate. Let's check whose game intelligense and skills are best! (4.Register information) 2.3 Controls Player 1: arrow keys: moving right shift: shooting enter: tackling (right control: passing in 4-Players-mode) Pl 2: w,a,s,d: moving tab: shooting §: tackling (1: passing) Pl 3: keypad (8,4,5,6): moving 0: shooting 1: tackling (,:passing) Pl 4: i,j,k,l: moving b: shooting n:tackling (m:passing) 3. News This is the third time as far when the almost whole Hockey has been started over. Extreme Hockey includes many improvement to earlier Hockey-games. I could write here a long list of new things and code-based stuff, but at the moment I feel like a shit. Anyway even very basic things like shooting, tackling and passing have developed a lot. Memory control is far better than it was somedays; maybe the most important in memory-fixing is that now the game works prefectly under Win NT and other operating systems based on NT's way to handle ini-files. Unnecessary statistics are moved because I didn't have time or energy to make them work. Or actually even start working with them. Opponent Editor is a very cool new option, which can be activated by registering (4.Register information). It allows user to do almost 2 billions of different kind of opponents. And it takes only one minute to create one, so those 2 billions can be done in 3805 years! That's cool. Yep yep.. graphics are better and music has doubled. 4. Register information If you'll register Exteme Hockey, you'll get: - Possibility to create your own opponents with Extreme Hockey Opponent Editor. You can specify everything; movement, speed, accuracy, sensitivity, handling skills, tackling power, luck, look etc! - 4-Players game-mode - 100 varying and challenging computer-opponents. - Full Tournament mode. - Access to all parts of the game with no limits. All this costs you only 4 US dollars. (4.2 Currencys) 4.1 How can it be done?
