Finnish video games

Finland’s first commercial video game Chesmac was published in 1979 for the Telmac 1800 computer. The next decade witnessed the birth and rising popularity of both VIC-20 and Commodore 64, which resulted in computer gaming becoming a hobby as well as the publication of games on a larger scale. Netherworld is a great arcade style shooter that was first released on the Commodore 64 way back in 1988. This is scrolling shoot em up action at its very best, but for some reason it is not held in as high regard as many of the other classic Commodore 64 shooters.
